You know I had this big plan to read Emily Giffin’s One & Only before I leave for my trip.
Not. Going. To. Happen.
I’m at page 51 and she is still setting up her main character. I will babysit a book for it to get to a point or the end but I’m on a bit of a time crunch on this one.
I haven’t given up but there is no way I’m finishing this book before I leave and I’m not buying it on kindle. It’s $11.84!
Sorry, good looking Emily, you needed to show me something in the first 50 pages that was worth that kind of book money.
As is, I have made the decision to retire this book. If I come across it in the future, I’ll pick it up and give it another try. If we never see each other again, I’m sure I won’t miss it.
That’s my review based on 50 pages.
Now back to my regularly scheduled life . . .
